other guys. I joked about one of them, saying he looks like a monkey: We sat at both sides of one bar, facing each other, separated by glass. He touched the glass as if he is imprisoned. Making a joke. I told my friend he looks like a baboon in the zoo. I said it in a different language... without thinking. I don't know why I thought this stupid saying is funny, but back then (over 10 years ago), we thought it is. He understood me when I said "baboon"... I was so ashamed and tried to convince him that I didn't say that, that he didn't understand. This guy is black and immediately it made me into a stupid racist. I felt awful, especially since my grandmother is a holocaust survivor. I felt so stupid. And until today I feel very bad when I remember my stupidity. Michal
